Part of AOII's mission statement, "Women Enriched through Lifelong Friendship," ensures that every sister will do all she can to achieve to her best capability. Kappa Omicron is dedicated to making sure that all our members participate fully in their academics while enjoying the college experience. Our values encourage striving for excellence, encouraging innovation and creativity, and holding ourselves accountable to higher-than-average standards in all actions and activities. 

Academics and scholarship are of the utmost importance in Alpha Omicron Pi. We want each sister to be aware of her academic role, and achieve as best she can. As a house, we offer tutoring, study hours, academic "big sisters" and other incentives in hopes that everyone does well and maintains our required GPA. Our Vice President of Academic Development can work with a sister individually to ensure she is getting all the help she needs throughout the semester, or organize study groups for that especially hard course you're in. She also organizes incentives to reward those that achieve at the highest levels and truly strive to "exceed the expectation".
