The Kappa Omicron chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi recently held their bid day on the campus of Rhodes College on Saturday, September 13. A total of 38 new members ran from Fischer Gardens, where bids were distributed, across campus to sorority row and entered the best house: AOII.

A luncheon was held at the house, followed by an outing to Golf & Games Family Park for go-karts, mini golf, and theme park rides. The evening was capped off by a movie night, held in the AOII house. Throughout the week, new members had the opportunity to paint AOII wooden block letters, attend a chapter meeting, eat dinner with the chapter in the Rat, and bond with the senior class.

Kappa Omicron is grateful to everyone who made this day a success, including Amanda Garrigan (Recruitment Advisor), Emily Weiner (VP- Membership Recruitment), Kathleen Fox (Asst. VP- Membership Recruitment), Michelle Hope (New Member Educator Advisor), Brigid Hannon (New Member Educator), Melissa Porter (Asst. New Member Educator), and Catherine Lawson (Chapter President). The chapter is very excited about the new 2008 pledge class and welcome the "baby Alphas" with open arms!
